Design Process
-
The color palette is derived from the University of Michigan’s brand guidelines, using a restrained mix of maize, blue, and neutral tones. High-contrast color pairings were intentionally selected to meet WCAG AA standards and support readability across devices. The palette reinforces institutional credibility while keeping the interface clean and approachable for students.

Typography choices prioritize clarity and accessibility, using system-friendly, highly legible typefaces for body text and navigation. Consistent type hierarchy helps guide users through dense career content while maintaining scannability on mobile screens. Overall, the typography supports usability, accessibility, and alignment with U-M’s digital identity.
